70 Virginis is a planetary system orbiting HD 11776, a G5V ☼ star in the Virgo constellation of the Inner/Sol Region.
70 Virginis 70 Virginis is a planetary system orbiting a yellow G-class star. The system lies in the Virgo Constellation of the Inner/Sol Region. The 70 Virginis System contains a gas giant orbited by a small moon. The moon is the location a modest research station built under the surface.
The moon is a bit too warm for liquid water and human habitation on the surface, meaning any settlements have to be in orbit or underground. Beyond the gas giant in the 70 Virginis System, the majority of the system's meager population reside in the outer Kuiper Belts.
Limited mining operations take place in those outer belts of the 70 Virginis System.
