Minelauva is a planetary system orbiting Delta Virginis, a luminous M3III red giant in Virgo. The system lies along the political and navigational edge between the Izar and Spica regions, giving it more strategic importance than its modest population suggests.
Its inhabited world is a hot, arid remnant that may once have held broader oceans during an earlier, cooler era. Today most of the surface is open desert, broken by mineral flats, exposed basins, and the small southern ocean that anchors nearly every permanent settlement.
Colonies around the polar sea survive through careful water management, sealed agriculture, and long-range supply traffic. Mining crews, climate researchers, and border-watch stations share the same fragile infrastructure, making Minelauva a sparse but useful stop between better-developed neighboring systems.
Though its population remains only around two million, the system’s archives are unusually detailed. Survey teams monitor the red giant’s activity, track desertification patterns across Minelauva B, and maintain regional links with Runeworld, Meredith, Toronica, and Yaron.
