Panstor is a planetary system orbiting TYC441110321, a G9V star in the Ursa Minor constellation of the Polaris Region.
Panstor’s primary world is a lifeless desert planet of silicate rock, broken mountain chains, dry basins, and exposed mineral fields. Its surface offers little natural shelter, but scattered deposits of rare metals made the system useful enough to sustain a small colonial presence.
Most of Panstor’s two million residents live inside enclosed industrial cities built near extraction zones, landing corridors, and processing complexes. These settlements are sealed against the planet’s hazardous carbon dioxide and nitrogen atmosphere, relying on imported water, recycled air, and hardened transit networks.
The system never developed into a major population center. Instead, Panstor functions as a remote supplier for the Polaris Region, shipping refined metals from its primary world while maintaining limited operations on its hotter inner planet.
Today, Panstor remains austere and utilitarian: a dry frontier system where mining crews, survey teams, and cargo haulers move between wind-scoured deserts, sun-baked rock fields, and orbital depots that connect the colony to nearby inhabited systems.
