The Tigacanis is a massive creature weighing over 300 kilograms (650 lb) with a wingspan of 20 meters (65 feet). With its razor sharp claws and teeth, the semi-intelligent creature would attack early colonists in groups.
The Tigacanis were the dread of the early settlers, many were killed by waves of attacks which usually occurred at night. Eventually a population of humans would take hold on Rhoden, causing the Tigacanis numbers to dwindle.
