Vega Vega is a planetary system orbiting a blue/white A-class star. The system lies in the Lyra Constellation of the Inner/Sol Region. Located only 25 light years, Vega was one of the first systems explored by the Terrans.
Plans were devised to mine the system's mineral rich terrestrial worlds, then export their resources back to Earth. They would use the resources to help build needed space infrastructure across the Inner Region Decades were spent to eventually build small colonies on the system's two terrestrial worlds.
Numerous complications with the intense radiation from Vega delayed the planets' colonization projects. Enclosed cities were eventually built around the warmer Vega B polar regions, also around the equator on cooler Vega C.
