Fireton is a planetary system orbiting HD 118904, a K2III ☼ star in the Ursa Minor constellation of the Polaris Region.
Fireton Fireton is a system with multiple planets that orbits an orange, K-class giant star located over 400 light years from Earth. The system lies in the Ursa Minor Constellation of the Polaris Region. Fireton's primary planet is a terrestrial world with a vast endless desert.
The desert is flat and sandy, it is likely the remains of a once great ocean that covered much of the surface. As the parent star grew into an orange giant, the ocean disappeared, leaving behind a long river called the Zaza River, the last remains of the ocean. The Zaza River is easily the planet's most notable feature.
The Zaza river carves a wide valley that stretches north and south across the planet's surface. When viewed from orbit, the river is a green vein cutting through the brown desert. Industrialized cities and irrigated farmlands stretch along the length of the river. Nearly the entire population lives inside the river's valley.
