Behind the carefully managed image of Cinderaville, most of Parusia lives under severe poverty and strict family-controlled rule. Entire cities of metal shacks and tent settlements spread across the planet far from the capital's tourist routes.
The government tightly limits travel beyond Cinderaville, protecting the capital's reputation as a playground for the rich and famous while concealing the harsher reality of life across the rest of the planet.
