Valexia

Archive Entry

At the edge of the Sargas Region, Valexia is an important trade center connecting the Sargas and Spica Regions. Interstellar merchants and traders helped turn the system into one of the most powerful in the region. Valexia was the main catalyst to the fall of the powerful Central Monarchy that dominated the Sargas Region.

Valia

Archive Entry

The sun of the Valia System is a white/yellow F-class star that is usually bright for its spectral type. The star is beginning to evolve off the main sequence becoming a subgiant. The worlds of this system are changing rapidly with the growing sun. The primary world is becoming warmer and drier.

Validus surface viewValidus orbital view

Validus

Archive Entry

Va lidus is home to a unique variety of grain producing crops. When the grain from Validus is fermented and distilled, it produces exceptional alcoholic spirits that are known throughout the Inner Sphere. Distilleries are plentiful across the planet, while the grain crops are grown throughout the agriculture world, the sprits are the planet's most important export.

Vanesian surface viewVanesian orbital view

Vanesian

Frontier Colony

V anesian is a warm, humid, tropical world covered in dense rainforests. The planet contains vast supplies of fuel resources, minerals, and hardwoods, which drew colonists from multiple worlds. Diseases, bugs, and famine plagued the early colonies as they struggled to adapt to the conditions on the planet.

Varnus surface viewVarnus orbital view

Varnus

Water World

The primary planet of the Varnus System is a world covered in water dotted with various island chains. The islands are sprinkled over the planet-wide ocean, acting as an oasis for civilization and society, on a world that could otherwise not support long-term colonies.

Vega surface viewVega orbital view

Vega

Archive Entry

Located only 25 light years, Vega was one of the first systems explored by the Terrans. Plans were devised to mine the system's mineral rich terrestrial worlds, then export their resources back to Earth. They would use the resources to help build needed space infrastructure across the Inner Region

Veillus surface viewVeillus orbital view

Veillus

Habitable WorldIce World

T he primary planet of the Veillus System is a habitable world that is sinking into an extended ice age. When the planet was originally settled, few viewed it a place to house a large population. On top of cold temperatures and endless ice storms, the planet is home to an invasive fungus that is toxic for humans to inhale its spores. Despite the less than ideal conditions on the planet, a small, permanent population has adapted.

Ventaland surface viewVentaland orbital view

Ventaland

Ice World

has an eccentric orbit giving the planet extreme shifts in seasons. During the planet-wide winter much of the surface freezes, temperatures drop to frigid levels. The summers are the complete opposite, the frozen landscape thaws during the planet-wide spring to reveal wetlands and swamps, temperatures began to soar as the planet swings into summer.

Verawood surface viewVerawood orbital view

Verawood

Archive Entry

Verawood is an extremely hot and muggy world sitting under thick cloudy atmosphere, caused by an overabundance of carbon dioxide, that acts as a green house gas and traps heat in. Summertime temperatures can soar to the edge of what humans can survive, the atmosphere is so thick that its sometimes hard to breath.

Verity

Habitable WorldIce World

A planet on the outside edge on the habitable zone stuck in a permanent ice age. Ice covers the majority of the surface with slightly warmer areas near the equator. Deep reserves of valuable petroleum exist under the surface. Large refiners were built to refine the petroleum into useful products that could be exported for a profit.

Vermillion surface viewVermillion orbital view

Vermillion

Ice WorldFrontier Colony

T he Vermillion System's primary planet has a surface that's covered in a mixture of ice and liquid water. Despite an orbit that's close to the sun, the planet is still relatively cold and covered in ice, due to the dim K-class star it orbits. The planet was settled by a group of missionaries that were travelling through the Izar Region.

Veteris surface viewVeteris orbital view

Veteris

Archive Entry

Veteris is a system with a terrestrial world that orbits close to the sun, surrounded by a thick disk of asteroids, comets, and planetoids. Rich in rare metals, the Veteris asteroids and comets have been mined extensively. The Veteris planet orbits close to the sun, it's surface contains lakes and rives of metal liquefied by tidal forcest.

Vindemiatrix

Water WorldIce World

Vindemiatrix is a yellow g-class giant star in the Virgo constellation. The star is orbited by a large gas giant which has multiple moons. Orbiting at a distance of 7 AU from the star, the moons of the Vindemiatrix System were frozen for a short period after cooling enough from the system's formation. The moons iced over then were quickly melted into global oceans as Vindemiatrix blew up into a giant.
