A scientific outpost became the first permanent settlement on the primary planet's surface, though it was years before any significant population would eventually grow. Numerous enclosed cites were built on the surface, as the atmosphere was too toxic for humans to breath without a breathing apparatus.
The planet largest city named Chadwick City transformed into the planet's financial and economic center.
